    I don’t where you are getting information from. But I do have any where near the speed you are speaking of. We do have fiber optic running down our road. We are lucky to get 4.2 mpbs. On a good day it may run at 6.6. When it was CenturyLink we used to get the speed we pay for and that is 10 mpbs. 10 mpbs is the fastest speed they offer in our area. We are in a monolpy for internet in our area. I have to have a cable or fiber optic for my work from home job and Brightspeed is my option. AND they suck!!!!!!!!!

      You are correct! Brightspeed should be Slowspeed! They should install optic fiber in place of old dsl phone lines?

    If there was zero stars I would select zero. Download speed well less than advertised 10MBPS. After 11 at night Netflix or TV apps won’t play. Service has been down 14 days and Brightspeed has missed two appointments after we had someone home all day between the hours of 8-5. Hours waisted talking to a robot, more hours waisted in their chat room, and more hours waisted talking to customer service in India. Worst internet service in my lifetime.

    I am waiting for service to be restored for 4 days!!! Robot tells that technicians aware of the problem and tell time that it will be fixed, then push it back. Chat is not available, live person is not available. I work from home and this No service costs me money!!!
    Terrible customer No service, No response, No repair… it’s a joke!

    The worst customer service i have probably ever had for an internet company. Absolutely horrible. They even made my daughter cry. Sloppy installation that can easly get someone hurt. Lawsuits waiting to happen with these people

    Worst customer service I have ever ran into being on this earth over 50 years. My parents are elderly. They live in the country and are not comfortable using a cell phone, and they do not get reception. So when the landline is out it is serious. They live alone and being in the country what happens in case of a medical emergency?Thank God their security system isn’t connected to your company. I don’t understand why companies don’t care and anymore about customers. We are the ones that employ you and pay to put food on your table and roofs over your heads. Sad
