Arris SBG6400 Product Details
The Arris SBG6400 works with most US cable service providers, making it one of the most versatile devices on the market today. This model is compatible with Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Charter, Time Warner, Brighthouse Networks, Cox, Mediacom, Suddenlink, and most other US Cable Internet Providers. Please note that this model does not work with DSL providers such as Verizon, AT&T, or Centurylink.
Arris SBG6400 Additional Features
In addition to being widely compatible, the Arris SBG6400 features some robust specifications that will set it apart from other models. This Arris modem’s 8×4 channel bonding supports download speeds up to 343 Mbps and provides adequate bandwidth for internet browsing, streaming video, and online gaming. Additionally, this model also supports upload speeds of up to 131 Mbps. While these speeds are nothing extremely flashy, they are more than enough for your average daily internet usage.
SBG6400 Wireless Connectivity
This model’s N300 WiFi router helps connect your wireless devices from anywhere in your home without the need for wires. This modem’s built-in WiFi may not be powerful enough for your home if you live in a densely populated area or if you have a larger home. This model allows you to disable the built-in wireless and put the modem in what’s called “bridge mode”. Bridge mode allows you to turn off the WiFi and forward that job to a separate router. This added versatility allows you to make the most of your network and customize it completely to fit your unique needs.
What’s Included:

Works fine and as expected. It said new, looked new, and works fine but the package was clearly opened. Could see the original seal on the outside was broken and wrapper in side was ripped when it was opened. Wished I looked closer at the pick but the modem wrapper was ripped from one corner to the other. If I wasn’t having my cable Internet hooked up a couple days later I would have sent it back when I seen the white paper on the seal sticker.

Stopped working and was delivering speeds of approximately 1-2mbps. This 1-2mbps happened on 3 different devices. Had tech come out, switched out the modem and it jumped to 300mbps. Mad that this stopped working after my return window has closed.

I bought this modem for $30 and now I know why it was that price. Wifi is extremely slow. I have a 10mbps Internet service with comcast yet I could barely watch 720p video on YouTube. Even though modem is in the same room as me. I will be returning mine soon.If you’re going to buy this modem, BUY IT NEW, NOT USED!I upload a picture of my speed from the Google Internet speed test.

So far so good. We’ve had it about a month and it works great. Streams live TV without buffering, with two other family members using internet as well. I had to reboot it once, after the first day. Well worth the $$.

Worked fine when I first got it…now all of a sudden it keeps dropping the signal, or because really weak. I restart it, and it starts off fine, but losses strength. The pic shows the signal strength on my phone. Standing next to the wifi, 15 mins after a reset…it will just go out soon.

Easy to install. Just plug it and you got the code of the WiFi in the box. Use it on Xfinity. Great speed. Love it because it’s small and powerful, not like the huge boxes they have for renting.

I DID NOT RECEIVE THE APPLIANCE. Only the CABLE and manual have been shipped! I’M VERY DISAPPOINTED
