Customer –
Met my expectation
kade714 –
very strong signal. Difficult to set up p2p but that has nothing to do with the quality of the product.
Vic –
This modem works great. We can use several devices at once with no lagging at all
Customer –
Super easy to install and so far totally worth the money! Was tired of paying a monthly rental fee to our Internet provider for a crappy modem/router that kept dropping out. Our provider “tested” and said rental was running fine but we have seen such an improvement in speed and performance since purchasing this and making the switch about a month ago.
steve cow –
Works waaaay better than my old one…..very stable 🙂
Brian Herman –
Great cable modem and wifi router
Kenneth Coats –
it was grate
Richard J. Holmstrom –
I bought this during the annual Amazon Day and it was a great deal! The hookup was simple and I made one phone call to my internet provider (Brighthouse) to get it running on my internet service. Performance has been excellent through my whole house. I’d highly recommend this model as it’s fast and stable. I would prefer if it came in black (I’d rather have it blend into my AV stand – the white’s more obvious) but I’d still buy it again.
Mike M. –
One of the better modem/WiFi device I’ve had. It’s big but it’s powerful!
MW –
This was very easy to set up. The only problem i’ve noticed is that my wifi seems to be a bit slower. Still worth it.
Rob Font –
It’s perfect. So easy to set up. So fast and works throughout my entire home. Love it.
Customer –
It installed easily and has not let me down since I’ve plugged it in. It’s compact and doesn’t take up as much space as buying two seperate items. My last router and modem had to be restarted at least once a month and the router alone was over $200. It does the job well 🙂
Hunter A –
Works well so far but I had to look online for the default password because it’s motorola instead of password. So if you can’t login try admin for username and motorola as the password.
Customer –
Nice modem.
MD –
Be sure to check with cable provider. Regardless what the product states, TWC doesn’t support >100mbps for this model
Sheri Koprowski –
It works great. I research many makes and models and this fit what I was looking for.
DB –
Modem, wi-fi and router all in one! Works great for me!
Anne J. Geoghegan –
Used this for 3 months and it died.
JayC –
Prompt delivery, Super easy configuration and working like a charm.
Mike the Engineer –
The Arris Surfboard modem works flawlessly with our Cox Communications Internet and HDTV service. This particular modem was suggested as one that would work with Cox Communications and it has done so without a problem. I would not hesitate to purchase this, or any, Motorola/Arris modem because you will get a quality product. The only problem we experienced was the incorrect provisioning of the modem by Cox when they input the incorrect serial number into their system. I can’t blame Arris for Cox errors. Once the correct information was entered by Cox, the internet and HDTV service has performed without problems.
York S –
I bought this modem to replace the one provided by Xifinity. Unfortunately, it can’t do the job. It can only cover very limited area on the first floor, and almost no signal on the second floor. I had to buy an extender.
Customer –
Product arrived quick. Product worked as described. No issues. very satisfied.
James Hargis –
One of the best, if not the BEST modem/router i’ve ever own. Normally i’ll set up my modem/router and have to also connect a bridge for better connection speeds in the back of my house, not this time! I did anyway, just because i bought one the same time i bought this, and i didn’t want to throw it out, or not use it. But its not needed. This thing is a beast. GREAT GREAT GREAT connection speeds. I live in a 2500sq ft house the connection speeds are awesome all around the entire house even in the master bedroom which is in the deepest corner compared to the location of this modem/router. Definite must have if you need a two in one!!So far so good!!!I did go ahead and get the 2yr Square Trade Warranty, i’m hoping i don’t have to use it.
Customer –
Works Great!
BDRand –
Very happy with this modem/router especially on 5G. Set up was simple as I used all the setup info from my retired router. All my devices “see” my router as the old one with much improved performance. Range is very good as well.
Cheryl L. Fox –
Great product. Only drawback is that there is no outlet for the phone. Wi-Fi is much stronger now, even on the lanai.
Kiko –
Works quite stably, but range is not great. Need a range extender for my house, which is not particularly big.
Joe –
Excellent!
Shelby –
So easy to set up and Internet is super fast!
Mark S. –
The Arris Surfboard Cable Modem was a great replacement for the cable modem I was renting from my internet provider. It was easy to set-up and the switch over from the rental modem went smoothly as well. It is great to have two different bands to use: 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz.
Scott Price –
Works really well, and the setup was easy. the range is not as far as I expected, but it works well
John Burmeister –
It did just what we expected! Jack
grayteeth –
Has worked perfectly since I purchased it, glad I bought it without modem/router fee’s it’ll pay for itself in the first year. It also works better than what is provided by Comcast.
Hard to please –
Modem arrived on time and is working fine.
Brittney –
not compatible with comcast
Carissa Gill –
Works GREAT. Supper fast with even when streaming movies and playing games.
Wally S –
This modem/router was very easy to install. The WiFi signal is strong, reaching well outside our home. Adjusting settings is easy and well laid out. So far we’ve only had to reboot the router once.
MAS –
I wish it had USB port as well
John –
Product is pretty large but very reliable.
nhm –
It might be a 5-star product; however, since I got rid of the Comcast rental modem/router, my smart phone periodically informs that my wifi connection “may be dangerous”. Connection is definitely a higher bandwidth.
fred klitzka –
Excellent !
Tim Bridwell –
Great product. Easy setup.
C. Jacobs –
I purchased this based on the it having high power wifi, it is not as high power as I need.
Angry Ryan –
This is so much better than what Comcast provides, we now have 90 mbps speeds vs 45 mbps. And we are able to get a signal throughout the entire house. Should have done this a year ago.
Williamstown –
it was easy to hook up and has been flawless so far. No real problems to report.
Johnny_® –
Over 25,000 reviews! So just my quick 2 cents(I am reviewing specifically the SBG6782-AC AC1750 Modem/Wi-Fi Router):*First and foremost, remember – this is a router and modem in one, so for most cable internet users, you have to call to your service provider and tell them the MAC address of this product, so they can enter it into your account, before it can work properly. This is something you have to do each time you replace the modem, not the router. I had forgotten about that fact, and although the diagnostics showed it was sending and receiving data, I couldn’t get an Internet connection. Gave Time Warner Cable a call, and it was working immediately after. You can find the MAC address on the product box, inside the instruction booklet, and/or on the modem itself.*Once up and running, it’s been working flawlessly. I have the 100 Mbps down/10 Mbps up package, and Speedtest.net confirms it for both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections(actually 118 Mbps down/12 Mbps up).*The IP/Web address to set up the configurations is 192.168.0.1 – the default username and password is admin/motorola.*The dimensions are quite big, at just over 10 inches long, just under 9 inches tall, and 3.25 inches wide at the base/stand, and just under 2.25 inches for the box’s actual width. It weighs about two pounds.
Customer –
Best router out there
Saad –
Great
JaneMargaret Riley –
Garbage! Save your money and buy something else. I used this to replace a stand alone modem and an Apple airport extreme for wifi. This unit constantly dropped the internet connection even for my wired devices and the wifi was terrible compared to the Apple airport. I tied to use it for a week and a half and have returned this for the SB6190. The SB6190 works great.
Chris Smith –
Boosted my download speed by over 30%. Well worth the investment in upgrading Wifi Router
