Dan H. –
I searched Xfinity and the compatible modem (video, voice, no wi-fi) model was T25, but I was unable to find T25 on ARRIS web site. I ordered above Surfboard and hoped I would not have to return it. Replaced my old reliable ARRIS to get latest DOCSIS 3.1. Package arrived MARKED T25 (see photo) but no ARRIS model number. Easy to install for TV, BUT Xfinity computer tree does NOT enable internet or voice (only TV when you own the equipment). You must contact Xfinity Tech Support to give MAC addresses over the phone (yes, a different phone line than the one you are enabling). As in product photo, must stand upright (my old model lay down).

Works great, I bought this cause Xfinity now supports 3.1 DOCSIS, It replaced an old cm500 modem, I notice this modem runs a lot cooler than my NetGear modem. No disconnects and I notice a great speed increase. Works perfectly with Asus ROG router.

So I am writing in response to a few post and the issue with installation.1. This is not an END OF LIFE (EOL) PRODUCT. This was just released as a product Oct 2019. I strongly doubt that Arris and Comcast would approve something for sell to consumers and then make it useless.2. The setup should be easy but unfortunately it is not. Mostly because it has 2 Mac address the need to be known and I am sure the techs on the other end of the phone probably do not fully understand that they need both. My installion required a technician to come out to my house to do exactly the same thing that I did. Unfortunately comcast has to fix that issue with there employees.3. Now for the positive. This is a very good product that will be great for longevity or future proofing. Once ISP has connected with the product it has worked without any major flaws that I have yet to notice. I have it combo with an nighthawk X6. I ran a ethernet cord directly to my Xbox and did a speedtest and the service that was bought was the service that was provided.4. As far as for the phone service. It works and allows it to be link with you xfinity TV so you can know who is calling when you are receiving a phone call on your house phone. (yes someone in the house appreciate that)Conclusion: Installation can be a small hassle, but once complete it is a good overall product. I am sure it has its flaws but nothing to the point where you can fully trash the product. Its capabilities far out weights the price tag especially with DOCSIS 3.1 and 10GBPS+. This is a future proof product not a stopgap.
