Works great, easy to set up with Spectrum (aka Time Warner). I’m getting the speeds I paid for, so I am a happy customer! Unit is compact and easy on the eyes.

Best Modem I have used for Spectrum. I have owned and used about five different modems, this was the best. Low ping/latency

Purpose: improve 2.4ghz speed on Comcast broadband blast package with promise of upto 200 mbs downloads.Replaces: Motorola Surfboard 6141 Docsis 3.0 (4×4) that was only providing 40 mbs DL’s. On my 2.4 band & only 150 on my 5.0 band. Results: 2.4 GHz speed improved from 40 mbs to 110 mbs. A 175% improvement. On the 5 GHz band, 240 mbs from 150 mbs.Summary: going from 4×4 bonded channels to a 16×4 setup has provided me with the throughput I paid for. Newer equipment helps the source signal entering the house to be organized & optimized. Smaller size vs my prior modem & sitting next to my Asus AC68U router makes this a very positive purchase & highly recommended.

It one of the best on market and support internet speed up to 400

Title is HIGHLY misleading. This is a CABLE MODEM ONLY! IT IS NOT A WIFI ROUTER. You CAN NOT connect to this device wirelessly without a separate wireless router. Their is only one Ethernet jack in the back and that’s it.

It was a decent modem but I have been having issues for the past 2-3 months now and I haven’t even had the modem for a year yet. Been having issues with WiFi extenders losing connection and that is while internet is still up since the computer is running the internet fine. Also randomly one of the antennas broke i guess from being moved and it just kind of hangs there not sure if its even still sending out a signal or not. included a picture of me holding it up to show where its loose from. So as of now I wouldn’t really recommend this modem which is a bummer since it seemed to be working great when we first got it.

UPDATE: Recently, I noticed a significant drop in average speed in speed test (from ~200MB/s to ~20MB/s). The modem also loses complete internet connection more frequently. Very disappointed.UPDATE 2: It turns out because of the lack of up-to-date firmware from ASUS, Comcast has stopped supporting this device. I am getting basic speed because this device is NOT supported.I know the headline sounds confusing, but hear me out.I upgrade to this device to use with Xfinity Gigabit Service. It was a major upgrade compared to my previous device so I was happy with the speed I get. Multiple devices connect at ease with a proper speed in any device. It can handle a decent amount of smart devices and huge amount of computer, laptops, and tablet. The device does not get ridiculous hot even being used throughout the day. I do have to reset here and there but it is insignificant. Now, here is the part where it is not satisfying.1. There are weird corners where wifi is not stable. I understand the house structure can be tricky in some areas but I do not want to think about wifi when I already position my router in the middle of the house.2. I was messing around with the settings and I found out CPU1 is always almost full and yet CPU 2 is never above 5%. I tried to look up solutions but there is no promising resolution. I was hoping for an update in software but a year passes by and no software update is insight. On ASUS website, the section for firmware update is just greyed out.3. I noticed recently that my modem does not get the speed as high as I would see. For a gigabit service, I would expect to see a few hundred MB/s when I perform speed test but it always seems to max out at 30 – 40 MB/s. Looking into the matter further, I realize this device does not support DOCSIS 3.1, which is needed for Xfinity Gigabit Service. I am disappointed. Even though the speed I am getting right now is already good for me, it is not satisfying to see less than 50 MB/s in the test result.
