Purchased the RT-ACRH13 to replace a TP-Link N router that was constantly dropping wifi requiring a reboot. In the few weeks I’ve had it operating it’s needed absolutely zero attention from me, minus setup. Speeds and signal strength are outstanding through out the house. GUI is useful and intuitive on both web access and via mobile device. The mobile app is actually more detailed on traffic than the web access GUI.After battling with a few routers over the years, and almost always having to flash DD-WRT, this router is the only one that I’ve not felt the need and seems to have all the useful capabilities needed built-in.I knew I was gambling by purchasing a brand new device that just hit the market (November 1st I believe) with no real life reviews, but through heavy downloading, video streaming, multiple gaming devices running at once, and general use, the ACRH13 has handled it with ease. Currently I have 19 devices throughout my house ( I know o_O) and have had zero connectivity issues for two weeks.Although it’s still in the honeymoon phase, this is where my review currently sits, and will be updated if needed. So far, flawless Asus. Good job.

Another exceptional router by ASUS. A must buy IMO. The interface is clean, well thought out, easy to use and offers both beginners and power users plenty of options to fine tune their network. With 6 available slots for guest networks plus the two for internal networks the options are great for ultimate fine tuning and security. I placed this on my large network with over 50 devices both wired and wireless and this hasn’t skipped a beat, the quad core processor can handle the load with ease. The added smartphone apps for control of the router are a nice added touch and make remote administration a breeze. I’m sold as a fan of ASUS routers as I think they can easily surpass the competition with performance and price. I should also add I’ve never found updating the firmware of a router as easy as this was. Simply select the firmware version on the top of the home screen then select search for update and done within a few min depending on your internet connection. Which also leads me to mentioning that the throughput on this easily surpasses the 200 Mbps mark for WAN connectivity – I consistently get 180 Mbps with this + the overhead of keeping the connections alive. You’ll have no issues simultaneously streaming HD and Gaming with this, and added the QOS settings are nearly idiot proof too.

Improved speed from 27mb to 195mb. Router and modem are downstairs

I purchased this router after having a terrible time with my brand new Net Gear AC1750. The 2.4ghz worked great but the 5ghz was absolutely unusable. The speed would start out good but would end up at under 1mbps after running a speed test. I ordered a replacement AC1750 and the new one did the same exact thing! I decided I was done with Net Gear (my old router was a Net Gear and it has worked great for almost 10 years but didn’t have 5ghz) and ordered this Asus because it was getting good reviews. I must say, for the price I paid ($70), you really can’t do much better. It definitely out proforms the ac1750 in every way. The range on the 2.4ghz is a bit better and I now have 5ghz that gives me close to 180mbps around 25 feet from the router, through a wall! I am currently paying for 175mbps from Comcast, so it’s very cool seeing speeds a bit higher than that on the 5ghz channel. Setup was around the same as the Net Gear. Both make it quite easy to customize your wifi names and passwords and both have apps that let you control them from your phone. I would definitely recommend this router if you are looking for a powerful router on a budget and shame on Net Gear for charging $40 more while giving me a faulty product with less proformance than this router-Update-After owning this router for around 1 month I still only have good things to say about it! No dropped signal and it hasn’t needed to be reset! I still believe this is the best router available at the $70 price point. I have also added a screenshot of a 5ghz test and a 2.4ghz test. Both of these were done around 20 feet from the router. As I mentioned above I am currently paying for 175mbps.

Works great. I’m currently paying for 75 Mbps..

This router is a lot smaller compared to other routers that I’ve owned. I also like the UI when logging into the router. It’s speeds are great for a small apartment and makes a great buy!

Love at first site… but once you get to know this beast, be prepared for a shitstorm.=== Update 4/12/2018 ===Just received a brand new replacement from ASUS. Placed on ebay and went with the Synology RT2600AC.=== Update 1/3/2018 ===Had a minor power outage. Router is dead. Won’t boot up. ASUS doesn’t care.=== Update 12/19/2017 ===Nope. I’m done with ASUS. Their hardware is top notch for sure. Their software? A freaking joke. I’m sick of them. Poor technical support, poor software/driver support, and poor text translation.Over the past 3 weeks the WiFi has been failing intermittently. Devices are saying the connection is weak and will reconnect once network quality returns.Changing channels, restoring settings, nothing fixes this issue. There’s also the really annoying issue where the ugly UI gets stuck loading forever.Adding this to my 10+ ASUS devices that are having issues.Logged in via SSH. This router reports:(none):/tmp/home/root# cat /proc/versionLinux version 3.14.77 (barton@localhost.localdomain) (gcc version 4.6.3 20120201 (prerelease) (Linaro GCC 4.6-2012.02) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Oct 24 10:52:09 CST 2017Uhm…Goodbye ASUS, this router is going on ebay and I’m never buying another motherboard, tablet, chromebook, laptop, OR ANYTHING from ASUS!

Very good speed..Thank you.

Just WOW…I decided to upgrade my router and after carefully reading reviews I picked this one. I was upset after the completion because I noticed that I was using only 30% of speed with my old router which was 20mbs max. Love the 5g connection..90mbs. Really happy with purchase.

I purchased this to replace an older TP-Link wireless N Router. Please leave a comment if you have any questions and I can help and/or take more photos. As you can see in my photo my wifi connection on my 300Mbps service that downloads wired at 350Mbps was only running at just about 47Mbps.After switching this router in my wifi download speed jumped 600% from 47Mbps to 282Mbps.The install was really straightforward with no hiccups. I did end up having to reboot both the modem and the switch connected to this as well as a couple of the devices connected before they would get network addresses. For the price, performance and feature set on this router I’m very surprised it didn’t cost double. One tip I have is to make sure if you’re replacing old equipment double check the cables and make sure you’re using cat5e or preferably cat6 cables. Otherwise you might not be getting the speed out of this that you would hope to get. This type of router takes up a lot of real estate on your desk if you spread the antennas out in different directions so consider the mounting spot when buying a multi antenna router.I’m very happy with my purchase and would purchase this again and/or as a gift.

This is a great router. Once set up correctly (which is effortless), the speed and coverage is amazing. I own a 3 story, 3000 sq ft house; every spot in my house has covered. I average about 65 Mbps throughout the house and I only pay for 60 Mbps through my internet provider. Amazing!

Not much I need to say about this router that hasn’t been said. My previous router was flaking on me, freezing up, dhcp server stopped handing out ip’s, wireless would drop , etc etc. Got to the point where my previous router, TP-link N300 wouldn’t stay up even 24 hours without having issues. Was looking for a new router with better range and up to date AC wireless technology as well as being stable. Well it’s been close to 2 months of up-time and I haven’t had any issues. Will update if anything bad starts happening.

A perfect replacement for an aging Belkin Wireless N Router. Very easy to use interface and fast USB disk transfer speeds across the network as well. Most importantly, the signal reaches across the entire house, great job Asus!

Easy setup and a vast difference in speed from my prior router.

The router is working great and has upgraded my network. I am paying for 60 MB download. I had used my last one for a long time and it was time for an upgrade. My last router I paid 20 bucks for and was only giving me 30 -35 MB download. Bought this one and now I am getting almost 69 MB with the same either net connection to my desktop. The software allows me to rename devices that have logged on to my router. For example, sometimes you will just see the IP address. So just a bunch of numbers but if you know who is on your network you can rename the IP address one by one. If you are new to duel band let me explain. I had a single band. But with this dual band you pretty much have two WI-FI signals. So you create two Wi-Fi names and two Wi-Fi passwords. Both operating at different channel one being 5g. I enjoyed the upgrade and can’t complain.

This router rocks! Bought this and a new Motorola MB7420 to replace my older hardware as I was having speed/range issues. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Took two speed tests, standing next to router, before new hardware and after (See screenshot).Highly recommend!

Great router! I purchased one over a year ago for myself and recently purchased one for my mom. It does everything I expected it to do. The connection is stable, the wifi signal is strong and I get full speed with both wired and wireless, even when connecting multiple devices. It has dual band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz (to get faster speeds use 5GHz with a compatible 802.11ac device). If you use it with a device that only supports 802.11n or below, it will be slower, and it’s not the router’s fault! Also, make sure to install it in a center location. My modem is on an inconvenient spot, far from everything, so I ran 100 ft of flat CAT6 cable through the house (hidden) so that I could place the router in the center of the house, and it works great! I really like that you can setup guest network, so that your guests can connect to a separate network, with it’s own password, and not see and/or have access to your computers and other devices you have connected. It’s almost like having two routers! To make it even better, it has a great web interface, with lots of features and it has its own app, so you can control many things from your phone, even setup parental controls, time restriction, restart the router, see all connected devices, rename them and add custom icon/picture, etc. I have mine mounted on the wall behind my printer, using heavy duty Velcro, so that I can easily remove it when I need to, but it is a nice looking device, so it doesn’t really need to be hidden!

Excellent router. Best bang for your buck on MU-MIMO routers. Others sell for $200+. I went from an AC1200 router averaging 10-20mb/sec download speed and 3-4mb/s upload that was very sensitive to network traffic to this where I always am at 60mb/s download and 12-15mb/s upload speed. It’s range is unbeatable. It has every option all if the more expensive routers have and I actually saw it for $50 on a lightning deal. But I paid normal price which is fine considering that its worth every penny. Range works great in 5,000sq ft home. And it’s not big at all.

Pretty fast and stable with strong 5G signal throughout the house. No slowdown seen running for over 5 months. The uptime image was captured before upgrading the firmware today.

I purchased two of these routers. Both perform great! I’m happy with the speed, stability, performance, and wireless signal strength. I never need to reboot this router – it is very reliable. I recommend this product.

My old ASUS router I’ve had for years needed an upgrade and tried to cheap out on a non-brand router but of course it failed so spent the extra for the ASUS and could not be happier! The setup is VERY simple anyone can do this by following the instruction sheet. You don’t even have to change the SSID (name of the Wifi access point you usually select anywhere) or customize it with your own and create a password. Once that’s done, you’re set. The router is secured and you’re ready to start surfing.Currently we have up to 200 Mbps download speed package with our local ISP. The last router we had from Wise Tiger didn’t even reach it’s full speed even next to the router. With the ASUS RT-ACRH13, the Wifi speed jumped across the 200 Mbps barrier during the evening at full speed. Usually I see a significant drop with the 2.4 GHz trying to surf with the tablet or the phone in my bedroom but both frequency did really well considering there are number of walls in between. The screenshot shows the speed I was getting at both 2.4 & 5 GHz next to the router and at the far end of the bedroom. The router is setup on the second floor (we are on a three level condo) in the living so centered in the building with all four antennas straight up as shown in the product photo.Readings using my cell phone:5 GHz at the router = 235 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up5 GHz upstairs = 156 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up2.4 GHz at the router = 97 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up2.4 GHz Upstairs = 63 Mbps down, 12 Mbps upI love that it has USB 3 port and for what we do since we don’t do online gaming but your usual Netflix and 5-6 devices connected surfing the speed is more than adequate. My old ASUS router lasted more than five years and still going strong so hoping this router will last just as long. It’s a bargain considering how much faster this router is.As far as the Wifi coverage, our condo is roughly 1,400 sq/ft total in three levels with the ASUS router on the second floor. While I can’t say for sure how far the signal would reach in traditional homes, I can see it be more than adequate for up to 2,000 sq/ft home. For the price I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another unit to have consistently strong signal. Since we’re moving to a two-story house with a basement soon, I have a great feeling this router will provide enough coverage throughout our new house!

Couldn’t be happier way faster speeds over netgear router we had and we had several dead spots well not any more. Kids have WiFi in their rooms so you know that makes them happy. Picture is cell phone WiFi test.

I had an old linksy router with my Mortorola DOCSIS 3.0 SB6120 Modem and the Linsky was about 5 years old and acting up with slow speeds so I bought this ASUS router hoping to see an improvement from my old router and WOW this has Lightning SPEED!!! I was in the stone age with my old router getting 30 mbs and now with this ASUS I’m at super sonic speeds flying in at 140mbs. I have Cox Cable with the 2nd highest plan($69 a month) and this is the router/ modem combo to buy for super fast internet throughout the house (2000 sqft)

This is the best router i have ever owned for my apartment. I was deciding between purchasing this router or the new Google Wifi System router. I ended up buying this router and could not be more relieved that i made the correct choice. This router is so much faster and costs almost $50 less than the Google Router.I was at a friend’s house and they showed me their new Google router. I ran a speed test and saw that it was putting out 125 mb/ps download speeds and was impressed because of how simple the router looked, as well as how easy it is to set up, bit the router is currently selling for around $119.00.After doing research, I found out that although Google is highly rated, there are many routers that have higher speeds for much less of the price (plus the ASUS router has 4 Ethernet ports, while the Google router only has 1). I found this ASUS router online and saw that it was also highly reviewed, but could put out much higher download speeds over a wifi connection. I never really believe this info because all my routers purchased in the past never really lived up to the amount of internet speed that is posted on the package (also depends on your current internet plan with your cable provider). In the end, I purchased the ASUS because my current internet plan with Spectrum is the ultimate internet plan with download speeds up to 200 mbps. I am not sure which plan my friend had, but did not want to take the chance of purchasing the more expensive router only for it to put out download speeds that are less than what I am paying for monthly. After the set up of the router, which was extremely easy, I was getting download speeds on the 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection of 230+ mb/ps, which is more than I am even paying for. This was the internet speed all over my apartment, and the speed hasn’t decreased yet. Even on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection, I was getting download speeds of 110+ mb/ps.I was amazed since my last router was only putting out 60+ mb/ps on the 5 GHz connection, so this connection blew my last router out of the water.I attached pictures of the speed tests for both the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connections. The speed is unbelievable, especially for With the price that you are pay for this router, it is easily the best option for any other in its price range, as well as a better option than many other routers are more expensive.Overall very happy with my choice and the decision to move forward with this router over the highly rated Google router.

This is going to be more of a technical review.. I’m an IT Director for my company so I deal with this type of equipment all the time. I picked up this device for my house and I was looking for a few features. I wanted Gigabit ports, fast WiFi, and not a massive device. I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money. So I landed on this device.I tested the Gigabit ports and 1 port wasn’t Gigabit. Port 2 only worked at 100.Ports 1, 3, and 4 are Gigabit ports and had a transfer rate of about 933 MBits/sec (Same as Cisco 3750G switch)Port 2 was doing about 95 MBits/secI tested the WiFi next. I disabled the 2.5G for a few reason. 1. I don’t need it and 2 for Security. I setup the device using WPA2 using the 5G only. I personally like the 5G best as the signal covers my house well and it’s the fastest..The fastest speed I got was 295 MBits/SecI would normally see about 200-250 MBits/SecAt 50 feet I was seeing about 110 MBits/Sec (Many walls away)I have no had any issues with this device. I stream all my TV services over the internet and this device steams them smoothly. The setup was pretty simple and some of the features are nice. I gave this device 4 stars because one of the parts didn’t work at the Gigabit speeds. I’m not sure if this was just an issue on my device or if all devices have this problem. I’m not going to waste my time sending it back for this small issue.I attached a few pictures. Picture 1 is the fastest WiFi I saw on the devicePicture 2 is the Gigabit port test

Don’t ever buy from Asus!Worst set-up for a router I have ever experienced and pray ever will. The router was stuck on some old firmware versionwhich caused the setup page for it to appear only in Japanese characters and no way to change it!!!I called support and was on the phone for over 4 hours going through many downloading and meaningless steps they basically gave up it took so long. They said they would email me the last process and did so hours later at 1 in the morning.Next day I tried it all with no avail. The guy was somewhat helpful, what really was the problem was Asus’ piss poor setup and unintelligent design to not having anyway to change language on their router setup page. Why would a brand new router be in Japanese anyway!?!!?Case# N180450371Never buying from Asus ever again!!!

I am paying for 300mbps internet and get that speed direct wired. Over wireless I am pulling 271mpbs next to the router and 250mpbs upstairs with my laptop. My desktop upstairs is getting 262mpbs. I am honestly surprised this router did this good.I normally use a $300 Netgear router that has 8 antennas spread over 2, 5g signals and 1, 2.4g signal. This small router performed nearly as good as the expensive Netgear unit. I was getting 298.75mbps next to the router wireless and 282mbps upstairs with the Netgear vs 271mbps next to and 250mbps upstairs with the Asus 1300AC unit. These tests were done on my laptop.I attached photos as proof and all of these speeds were tested on the 5g signal.

works fine but can get hot. I call myself a “prosumer” (two nest cams, 3 computers, 2 chromecasts, ooma subscription, etc) and it seemed like I was just asking too much of it. I put it on my old laptop cooler and haven’t had an issue since then. I did get my dns address hacked so make sure you review the security options carefully at initial set up. disable any remote access to your router and you should be fine. the android app works great.

Combined with a surfboard this is great

This router has been amazing and I have never had to restart it. I have had some routers in the past which would freeze up after awhile. Also this router had some features which I found very useful, I talk more about this in my video review. I highly recommend this router and have recommend it to friends and family members.

Lo uso como router principal y hasta el momento no tengo ninguna queja es excelente, tiene gran alcance y es rápido.

Took me a total of 15 minutes to install, set static reserved IPs and update firmware. Works great and my signal is 75-100mbps above what I normally get now.

Works great with my internet service (I have ran speed test with results well over 300MBS). Very good WiFi signal as well.

I received this today 11/9/18 it’s very easy to set u. Took me about 20 all together including firmware updates. I set the 2.4 ghz for my standard connection. And my 5ghz for my gaming console only and also made the 5ghz invisible (my preference) the website for set up is pretty easy to navigate though unfortunately the mobile app will not pick up or allow me to set up the router, which is unfortunate but fortunately I have a chrome book for easy access if I ever need fo check up on anything! I live on the 2nd floor of a brick apartment building and have typed this recipe while walking down to my car which is about 300 feet away and am still showing a 2 bar connection!!!(on 2.4ghz band) definitely reccomend this product!
Cherie –
Amazing speed! Easy to setup after I activated my modem. I am using 2.4 and 5.0 with separate SSIDs, getting 250 mbps with 5, and 70 mbps with 2.4. With my old router I was getting a max of 60 mbps on 5.0, and a max of 10 mbps on 2.4. Using spectrum with a 200 mbps plan. Easy to use web interface with all of the features you need. Would recommend!

I upgraded from an Asus wireless N router. Tripled my 2Ghz speed, and on the 5Ghz band it is 9x the speed of my old router. The only variable I changed was this router… The app is great really everything is great. The range is average by no means poor at all. The first picture of 26mps download is my old router. The other picture is the new router on 5Ghz band. Same location in my house, same phone, same network traffic. Its awesome, well worth the money. I hope it holds up
Husband & Wife Reviews –
What I absolutely love is the speed. The 5g is so fast, it is the first time I have ever seen 400mbps on my connection. (I currently have ATT fiber wire)The coverage is pretty good. I have a two story house… There are some “weak” spots but no gap in coverage speed. The split coverage is great too. I like having a 2g network for some household items where I have my xbox and phone on the 5g network.Cons… And the only con is that it has to reboot every time you update a setting.Other than that… I am glad I bought it! Great investment in my house so far. Will update if anything negative happens.

Update: This is still a great wireless router, but it has some limitations. About 8 months after purchase, I started getting smart switches and Google smart devices. I’ve got an extra 25 wireless devices connected now: 11 GH products, 10 smart lights that connect via 2.4ghz, 4 smart switches that connect via 2.4ghz. As I have added more devices recently, I’ve noticed my wireless connection dropping out across all devices on 2.4 and 5ghz. I’ve got roughly 10 more original devices (gaming consoles, tablets, chromecasts, TVs, phones, Laptop). So easily over 35 devices, not including guests that stop by and connect.I don’t see anything about max devices listed, but it seems like 25 might be reaching limit. I get frequent disconnects with 27-32 devices connected simultaneously.Original review:I was in the market for a cheap, but not too cheap, router after I kept getting WiFi drops on my TP-Link N600.When I got the TP-Link, our family didn’t have many wireless devices. As the years progessed, we kept getting new phones, computers, gaming consoles, a SmartTV, Roku’s, Chromecasts, FireTVs…You get the picture.Anyway, we had intermittent issues pop up on a regular basis. Made streaming somewhat stressful. Wife wasn’t happy and I’d be called away from leisure time to reset the network and change wireless channels until one day, I just decided to upgrade. This Asus is working pretty dang well. I’ve got even more devices hooked up now. Smart switches, Smart lights, more devices…Works great. I’ll probably purchase another Asus product to use as a separate SmartHome hub and better isolate my network.

We have 2 issues in our home with wireless. First, its a rather long house and our internet connection is at one end making it difficult to get a signal at the other end. Second, we have gigabit Ethernet and our existing router while claiming to support these high speeds falls significantly short. Since our home supports multiple IP leases, I plugged this router into a separate port on the model and did side by side test.First, the MIMO aspect of this router enabled a usable signal at the far end of the house. Now we don’t have to use repeaters to extend the range. Second, the buffering on this box is much better than the older router because connections are much quicker with latency being smaller and throughput is much smoother and not nearly as choppy for those high res videos.I fully recommend this router if you need a new or replacement. I have not fully gone through all the features yet, but the GUI seems to support a wide range of features ranging from firewall support, port routing, game box support, DMZ, QOS management and parental control. I’ll definitely buy one of these again if required.

I have a 200 megabit plan. With multiple devices connected and my $5/month spectrum router, one device would get 150 mbps down while another device gets 30 mbps. After getting this router, both devices get 230 mbps simultaneously. Note that prices fluctuate – this router already went up $2 since i purchased it. One pic is a galaxy s9, other is my macbook pro

the range of the wifi network 400Mbps (2.4GHz) is very good I like but the network range of the wifi 867Mbps (5GHz) is bad very bad its range is 10 meters, it is equal to bluetooth that’s why I give it a star, I bought this router to upgrade to the wifi network 867Mbps (5GHz) but I’m disappointed a lot. The scope however 400Mbps (2.4GHz) wifi network is better than my old router and that pleases me but I would not buy another router asus in the future its network 867Mbps (5GHz) disappointed me
Jason M. –
This router exceeded my expectations. I purchased this because of the MIMO technology to make WiFi speeds to my iPhone XS Max fast. Let my Speedtests speak for itself.

While router seems stable and operates without dropping connection, my initial optimism has subsided when I went into the administration panel and attempted to update the firmware via router’s web interface. While flashing icon prompted me to do so right after the login, any attempts to navigate to the update page failed with the stupid message “The router cannot connect to ASUS server to check for the firmware update.” that blocks all controls on the page (i.e. no button to click or go back or retry). Note, this message comes up after the fact that it checked and notified me that there’s a new firmware version available! With this message on top one cannot even manually upload firmware file. What king of positive user experience does it make? Should I ssh into the router and FTP the file directly? What kind of quality control over the incompetent development does exist at asus, considering it is not the cheapest router on the market. So for now with no obvious way for me to ever upgrade the firmware I am left out with a buggy box that will be open to vulnerabilities with no chances to patch them in the future.4 stars for reliable hardware after few months of use. 1 star for firmware. My advice: look elsewhere and don’t buy chinese.

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about this router. The setup was quick and very easy to make, name, and password protect multiple networks. I pay for 400/20mbps internet and regularly get 350mbps+ download speeds over wifi which is great. I use it in an apartment complex so I can’t really comment on the range, but there hasn’t been any interference with the loads of other wifi networks from neighboring units. I have my pc, laptop, phone, roku ultra and a number of smart home devices running off wifi simultaneously and haven’t seen any slow down. Being able to stream 4k content while downloading large files simultaneously without having ethernet cables everywhere is fantastic. The dual band is also nice since I can utilize the speed of newer devices that can use the 5mhz channel while also connecting older devices that only support 2.4mhz

Great product! As we all know. WiFi hotspot tethering from a phone doesn’t cover the full home in connection. It is also limited by how many devices you can connect to it. I have unlimited 4G LTE hotspot on my plan and I wanted to use it for my home internet sense I get 40-70 down and 13 up for my speeds. Note I have a imac, 2 Xbox ones, smart TV, 2 tablets, a Google nest, and Google homes. I have alot that needs to be connected. I figured out that asus routers allows you to easily USB tether your hotspot off your phone to the router it self. So this allows to use the routers antennas and processor then the phones weak antennas. So it puts all the stress on the router. From my test results, I was getting 10 down on the Xbox in my room which is on the other side of the house from the hotspot phone before the router. After installing the router I was getting 40 down. Huge increase and I ran the test many times. I now can connect all my devices and play on Xbox live without any lag. This router is pretty small but has so many features to it. This is the router to get if you are in the same circumstance then me. Note the router also has a settings option for optimized connect specifically for Xbox.

I’ve got so much packet loss on this piece of crap that it will be a miracle if I even am be able to even post this review.I’m sure it’s the router because doing a ping to 192.168.50.1 is showing the drop outs.

Nice fast router. Replaced an old netgear(>10 years old). My internet smokes now! The only issue was the internet setup was in chinese. Just click the upper right hand corner and change the language to English. Got a great deal on black friday…

After having two Asus computers and this being an Asus along with a very reasonable price I felt I could not go wrong and I was right. Had to call tech support and they are super helpful.
