NEXT-GEN AC DELIVERS POWERFUL WIFI TO MULTIPLE DEVICES
The Linksys MAX-STREAM AC1900 features MU-MIMO, the latest advance toward uninterrupted, simultaneous WiFi connections.
Devices such as HD streaming media players, 4K TVs, tablets, and game consoles use a lot of bandwidth. But with MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output) technology, the MAX-STREAM AC1900 wireless router sends advanced WiFi to multiple devices at the same time and same speed. Your whole family can play, stream, and work at once, without experiencing lag or buffering–at up to 2x the speed of a non-MU-MIMO router.*
ENJOY COMBINED WIFI SPEEDS UP TO 1.9 Gbps
Our MAX-STREAM AC1900 Multi User-MIMO Router offers two dedicated WiFi bands that deliver combined speeds of up to 1.9 Gbps. It also allows you to make your time online more efficient: simply assign high-bandwidth activities, like 4K video streaming, to the high-speed 5 GHz band, and leave basic activities like email to the 2.4 GHz band.
POWERFUL PROCESSOR FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
Enjoy fast-paced WiFi activities such as online multiplayer gaming with the MAX-STREAM AC1900. Powered by a dual-core processor, it is capable of handling three simultaneous data streams. This results in improved WiFi performance and faster WiFi speeds to more devices.
HIGH-SPEED WIRED CONNECTIVITY WITH GIGABIT ETHERNET PORTS
Connect more devices and share files at speeds 10x faster than Fast Ethernet with four Gigabit Ethernet ports. Connect a storage device and quickly transfer files. Or, share devices such as printers across your WiFi network using the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
IMPROVED WiFi SPEED AND RANGE WITH BEAMFORMING
Direct WiFi signals to each of your mobile devices to increase signal strength and coverage with our MAX-STREAM WiFi router using Beamforming technology. Play video games, listen to music, check emails, shop online, stream HD movies, and more, without having to worry about dropped signals.
ALEXA WI-FI ACCESS
With Alexa, you can easily manage Wi-Fi access for devices and individuals in the home, taking focus away from screens and back to what’s important. Say commands like “Alexa, turn off Timmy’s Wi-Fi”, when it’s time for dinner or “Alexa, enable guest Wi-Fi” when you have people over

The level of this repair is too bad, the screws are not only not installed, and many screw holes are not equipped with screws.

The router was very easy to set up. The signal is lower in the remote parts of our 2,500 sq ft., 2 story house but not enough to affect streaming connections anywhere. No need to add our Wi-Fi Extender! With my Spectrum supplied Arris modem Model TM1602 I now get 225mbps down and 12mbps up. Yes, that’s 225mbps!

Going from a low end Asus router to this Linksys has been night and day. Through put speeds are fantastic, I have many devices; both wireless and wired, and have been extremely happy. I was hesitant to spend over 300 on a router but I have been extremely happy. User interface is good, though I feel it’s a bit simplified. Uptime has been awesome and range is good. Would definitely buy again.

For my Google Fiber connection, I am using this router as an Access Point. It seamlessly extends my network to upper floors and DHCP is from the Google router. Great speeds. In addition, Linksys support was excellent in helping me set this right.

For past 2 weeks, I’ve been trying to find a new router that will let me connect MORE than my current 53 WiFi devices which are mostly on 2.4Ghz and spread out in a 2 story 2000sf building.Currently my TP-Link CR1900 modem/router does the job when aided by an RE450 and RE200 extender.I’ve tested ASUS, Netgear, another TP-Link router and this Linksys 2200.ALL have failed one way or another. The Linksys started by requiring 3 attempts to set-up.Then it found ONLY 19 of my 51 devices automatically. Wanted me to connect all the rest individually! Then in the GUEST section, I found out that it won’t even allow more than 50 guest devices.BYE BYE LINKSYS AC2200 !

Cox gave “free” upgrade to 150mps and the old router throttled it to 80. This seemed like the best price point for gigabit ports & AC class wireless. (It was much less $$ when I picked it up.) The 5ghz band just screams on our Samsung S9, iPhone 8, MacBook. The 5ghz range is also excellent, easily matching the range of the 2.4 band, with equal speeds at the very limits. Web interface is straightforward. Just an illuminated logo on front, so good for bedrooms in terms of low light output, not much info though. Only minor complaint is it’s big compared to old router. Would buy again.

I found this router pretty easy to set up and get running. The quick start instructions were very clear and written in a series of 5 steps. My old Linksys router was 10 years old so I needed an upgrade. What a huge difference it made to my upload and download speeds! The coverage around my house and in my yard is at least as good as advertised.

I chose the Linksys EA7500 router to improve my wireless experience. Over time, my most important devices have been upgraded to ‘AC’ technology, so it was time to do the same with my aging ‘N’ router. What a tremendous improvement! The signal strength in all areas on the main floor (where the router is located) has improved quite a bit and the signal strength at my basement Amazon TV Stick improved significantly! Improvements were quantified using NetSpot WiFi Analyzer, which clearly displayed the EA7500’s stronger signal strength simultaneously with my old router’s signal strength. The features and specs of the EA7500 are everything I could ask for in a home router. Highly recommended!

Upgraded from the ea8500 to this ea9500! What a big difference! You wont be disappointed! Easy to setup! And like before, i can control it remotely with the linksys smartphone app from anywhere.
Customer –
I paid for this last year, it was $169.99 — after about 15 months it bricked, error lights, no response. The warranty is 12 months. I called Linksys to see if they would go beyond their one year warranty to remedy the situation. They refused.I’m not really interested in using Linksys products anymore obviously. To spend close to $200 on a router that is only going to last a little over a year isn’t particularly acceptable.I’m going to have to review competitors, as you should too before buying Linksys.

We purchased 3 of these to work first as separate routers and converted them to bridges so we could have 1 wireless and wired network across our property. They work great and now all of our smart tech is available and we can get internet anywhere.

The range on this router is awesome. I had buffering issues with my last router when streaming movies. Now no more issues. I currently have 7 devices connected to it with no problems.

I was sent a router that was not in its original box. Possibly used because the disk was also scratched. Buy it from some other seller.

Instructions sent with the product will excellent tech support looked up my John Linsky modem explained where I should plug it in and everything worked fine tremendous help able to transmit through 12 inch log home

My old Linksys was slow, not covering my house and losing connection. Since installing the Max-Stream AC2200 MU-MIMO Fast Wireless Router I have seen nothing but blazing speed and consistent connection throughout my home. I have not had a need to use technical support.
Ted –
At this point it’s a way overpriced paper weight. The 2.4GHz band only worked for about 12 hours and I’ve yet to get it working again with help from their Twitter support. The 5GHz band works decent most of the time but still cuts out occasionally. Customer service is devent, but apparently the problem I’m having is somewhat common and I’ve yet to find a solution. The only benefit of this thing is the 8 ethernet ports, which is the main reason I bought it. Unfortunately at this point I would not recommend this item. Will update if I ever get it figured out or just return it and try a different brand.

Experienced very slow internet speeds for a while BEFORE buying this product (50-60 mbps). I added way more devices to my WiFi Network over the last year, including Blink Home XT2 WiFi security cameras, so bandwidth was an issue.AFTER buying this product, I’ve experienced no lag, no connectivity issues, and my MBPS per device has held constant at 230+ MBPS on Xfinity Internet service (paying for 200 MBPS).Highly recommend it. Solved all of my issues.- Household devices connected to WiFi at any given time: 12-15- MBPS Download speed per device: 230+- MBPS Upload Speed per devise: 11.5 – 12.5** Also upgraded modem to Netgear CM700 at the same time **

At first it was a pretty decent upgrade from our previous Asus router but then it started losing connectivity to devices, started having significant packet loss problems and is getting to the point where we are gonna sell it and go back to asus (AX11000).

This is a dual band router and for those that don’t know & are experiencing trouble trying to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime, the upper band width provides access to the full signal from your internet provider.
