Never stop exploring –
Pretty solid
Customer –
Unbeatable..worked great.. will buy again;)
Carol J. Donaldson –
Great buy! Now I don’t have to rent modem from our cable company!! Or pay for wifi….saving about $7.00-$15.00/month without protection added.
Customer –
It did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Guru –
Oldie but a goodie. A solid modem that is still in use by many peeps. Bought when Charter was charging for modem rentals. RIP sweet child of mine.
bagman –
Modem replaced rented modem which was the same model. Works great. Will pay for itself after 3 months. Thanks!
randall trail –
Performed as advertised. Packaging was good. Works fine and delivered on time.
Erik –
Plug and go, easy setup. No internet issues thus far. Way better than renting one from Time Warner Cable for $8/month.
Thomas j Azarello –
This is a direct replacement for my time warner unit.Works great!
James A. Morris –
Hook up was easy, the unit works well. I should have purchased the next unit up. The cable company upgrading my service to 50mb per sec. This modem is rated at 38 mb per sec.
Ryan –
This modem was delivered in great condition and included a Ethernet cable to connect to my router. Time Warner Cable is our internet provider, and this is one of the modems recommended on their website. It was a breeze to set up and has been working great!
Customer –
Works well. No complaints thus far. Just wish I would have purchased the modem/router combined to save space…
Don Thompson –
This died after about a year. We had to run out and purchase another modem locally to restore our Internet service.
Vegan For Life ftp –
Same as everyone else. Eliminates the rental/lease payment for a unit from TWC. I’ve had it since April. No problems at all. I leave it turned off and have it,and the wifi unit on an 3 outlet tap cube plugged into an outlet adaptor that has a switch on it so I turn both off unless I’m using it. It’s fast and reliable and because I only use it for regular internet use,it’s the bottom of the line data connection and still does video and flash player use without stopping and buffering and hiccups in playing video or animation on web pages. I don’t use it for streaming but if it had a faster mb access speed it would probably do as well as it does using it for what I’ve got. Even the tech that did the install said it a good, problem – free unit.
TP –
So far working good. Good for small home.
Sai –
Works with Optimum. Have been using for a month now without any problems. Excellent product for a relatively low price. Strongly recommend.
spb –
Product came with a defective power adapter.
jadi –
I like it
Customer –
This modem is a bit outdated but still works perfectly fine. Verizon contacted us a few times letting us know it wouldn’t work with our service but it has continued to work just fine. I highly recommend this product as it works well and is much cheaper than renting through your wireless company.
Sandra Thames –
better than renting.
G. Barrows –
Works as expected after several weeks of operation. Easy setup with ISP.
TooToot –
Unfortunately, TWC was unclear about this modem. I wasn’t sure I could use it or not for my internet connection. So, I returned it for a full refund.
mamassmokin –
just what I needed
Troy –
I don’t use it anymore, but it worked great when I did.
mkenya –
not compatible with my service providers network
William Deskin –
Does not work on Comcast cable.
pjw –
Worked for a while, but then random packet loss (2-5%) started. Charter techs blamed bad wiring, but only after replacing the modem did the problem go away.
Paul Conant –
Works as expected.
Bob –
I wanted to believe that this “end-of-life” modem was “resurrectable.” Unfortunately, after speaking to several employees at Xfinity as well as our very own independent unbiased networking specialist (aka our Asian friend), the consensus was to return the modem. I wanted to be wrong – I wanted this modem to work so badly – I argued my case to Xfinity but to no avail. This modem was however, very inexpensive and all the parts were there and it was shiny and smelled of brand new plastic. But it was no longer supported 🙁
Max –
Saves me modem rental from Comcast.
Amy Alexander Tindell –
Exactly what I needed
Fernando –
Works very well and hardly have any issues with it. I recommend for users that don’t need the high internet connection speeds. This device can support up to 30MB download speeds.
Customer –
There is no coaxial cable with it
peter Goss –
works great, better than paying rental fees from the cable company
B. Denton –
Great product. Works perfectly.
joseph salamone –
WORKS! WELL!
arthur.i –
Worked out fine for many years, until I gave it away.
Keith OC –
Arrived early, exactly as described
Jack –
Works good, plugged it in, called my provider and I was on the internet. Make sure to check with your provider before you buy any modem.
Sami –
5 stars
EverythingLina –

Kwok S. –
not bad
Lumakar Hanumandla –
works fine.
Customer –
it works really well!!
Dan –
Had one of these for 5+ years with zero issues. May only be docsis 2.0 but it’s very reliable.
LZ –
3 years old now and still doing great. Good for 70 Mbps download which exceeds the specs.
Kjoy –
great
Customer –
Saved me $10 every month from my Time Warner Cable bill.
John Justin –
Its still working for me. I am using comcast connection on this
AlphaOC –
It works, but I often ran into issues where I had to reset or unplug/replug the modem to get it to work properly. I’d buy a more up to date mode (as I have done a year ago).
