Modemguides.com has been helping people get online since 2015. What started in Oregon is now run out of Montana, where we've continued doing what we've been doing from day one: sourcing quality networking equipment, testing it thoroughly, and getting it into the hands of customers who just want their internet to work.
What We Do
We specialize in Grade A renewed and refurbished networking equipment: modems, routers, and related gear. Rather than let working hardware end up in landfills, we rehome it. Every device is professionally tested in-house in the United States, restored to full working order, and routed to fulfillment centers placed across the country for fast shipping. Over the past year, we've shipped more than 10,000 modems and routers to customers nationwide.
We've been working with refurbished electronics since 2014, with networking equipment our specialty for over a decade.
Warranty and Support
Every device we sell carries a 90-day full-coverage warranty. Returns are free within the first 30 days, and we typically issue full replacements for any issues that arise within the 90-day window.
Technical support is handled entirely in-house by our US-based team, Monday through Friday. No offshore call centers, no scripted tiers, just direct help from the people who know the equipment.

Modemguides is also a resource, not just a store. We publish setup guides, device manuals, troubleshooting articles, and ongoing coverage of topics like local AI tools and digital self-reliance, because owning your own equipment should come with the knowledge to use it well.
Our Team
Rob and his fiancée Ivy run Modemguides together. Outside of the business, they spend their time outdoors in Montana with their two bordoodles.
