With combined speeds up to 1,800 Mbps (1,201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band), it handles 4K streaming, video calls, and online gaming across multiple devices with minimal lag.

Under the hood, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Broadcom processor keeps traffic moving efficiently, even when your network is under heavy load. OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies allow the router to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously, reducing congestion and improving responsiveness across your entire network. The Archer AX21 is compatible with TP-Link OneMesh and EasyMesh, so you can pair it with a compatible range extender to create seamless whole-home mesh coverage without replacing your entire setup. Setup takes just a few minutes through either the TP-Link Tether app or the web-based interface. From there, you can manage parental controls, guest network access, and Quality of Service (QoS) settings to prioritize bandwidth for specific devices.

This router works with all major internet service providers, including Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, and others. A separate modem is required. Note that the Gigabit WAN port limits maximum throughput to around 940 Mbps, so this router is best suited for internet plans under 1 Gbps.
