In addition to the amazing speeds offered by this model, it also features a battery backup which allows customers to maintain a connection with the phone lines and internet in the event of a power outage. A pre-installed backup battery comes complimentary with all ModemGuides orders. The modem's 8x4 channel bonding ensures that even when the power is out, you still have the ability to access the internet on your devices and dial out to emergency services, or family members. The TM822G supports speeds up to 343 Mbps. Please note that this model does not have built-in wireless, so an additional router will be required for wireless connectivity.
