The Arris TM822G DOCSIS 3.0 telephone cable modem features 2 VoIP phone lines, battery backup capability, & is backward compatible with previous DOCSIS versions. This model features 8x4 channel bonding, allowing wired download speeds up to 343 Mbps. In addition to Toll grade voice performance equal to other Arris models, the TM822G features 2 independent 96MHz wide RF tuners to receive downstream channels up to 1GHz. Other features of the TM822G include: configurable options for loop current, loop voltage management, and ringing waveform. Manage your network remotely using the Arris administrative settings panel. Connect any wireless router for instant WiFi connections.
The Arris TM822G includes features allowing you to troubleshoot your network in minutes, saving you time & the expense of losing work over calling a technician from your ISP. In the settings admin panel of this model you can monitor call Quality Metrics for last fifty (50) calls, adjust device permissions, see error logs & troubleshoot any network issues easily. All this, without the need to call your internet provider.
The Touchstone DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 Embedded Multimedia Terminal Adaptor (E-MTA) TM822G delivers two lines of primary line Voice over IP (VoIP), ultra-high-speed data access, and multiple battery pack options to support telephony service during power outages. These battery options allow you to still utilize your wired network and stay connected, even during a power outage or emergency situation.
The Arris TM822G is designed to support a large number of devices while providing reliable high-speed data. In addition to the amazing speeds offered by this model, it also features a battery backup which allows customers to maintain a connection with the phone lines and internet in the event of a power outage. A pre-installed backup battery comes complimentary with all ModemGuides orders. The modem's 8x4 channel bonding ensures that even when the power is out, you still have the ability to access the internet on your devices and dial out to emergency services, or family members. The TM822G supports speeds up to 343 Mbps. Please note that this model does not have built-in wireless, so an additional router will be required for wireless connectivity.
