All this, without the need to call your internet provider.
The Touchstone DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 Embedded Multimedia Terminal Adaptor (E-MTA) TM822G delivers two lines of primary line Voice over IP (VoIP), ultra-high-speed data access, and multiple battery pack options to support telephony service during power outages. These battery options allow you to still utilize your wired network and stay connected, even during a power outage or emergency situation.
The Arris TM822G is designed to support a large number of devices while providing reliable high-speed data. In addition to the amazing speeds offered by this model, it also features a battery backup which allows customers to maintain a connection with the phone lines and internet in the event of a power outage. A pre-installed backup battery comes complimentary with all ModemGuides orders. The modem's 8x4 channel bonding ensures that even when the power is out, you still have the ability to access the internet on your devices and dial out to emergency services, or family members. The TM822G supports speeds up to 343 Mbps. Please note that this model does not have built-in wireless, so an additional router will be required for wireless connectivity.

This Arris modem is primarily used and is compatible with Comcast Xfinity & Mediacom service in most areas. To verify that this model will work in your area, always contact your service provider's customer service prior to placing your order with us to confirm that this model will work with your service plan.
